SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE

DO YOU LACK SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE - When my clients fill out their starting questionnaire, one of the most common areas noted as a predominant area of struggle is the lack of support and guidance. Most people are hard working, intelligent, diligent and resilient and theoretically should be able to achieve any of the goals they’re working towards, and often do really well I’m sure. But the body transformation/weight loss/fat loss journey is an absolute minefield. 

All the areas pertaining to weight loss affect our emotions and the hormones linked to our emotions. The dietary aspect affects our moods and feelings, the fatigue affects moods and feelings, the occasional and intermittent disappointment affects moods and feelings, the sometimes sloooooowww progress and patience required affects moods and feelings, the negative head chatter affects moods and feelings, the physical training effort affects moods and feelings, the confusion and frustration affects our moods and feelings…it goes on! It’s an emotional roller-coaster!! 

With so much strain on you emotionally it is so very important to have support around you and guidance in front of you. 

Then when you feel like giving up, there is someone to catch you. And when you feel lost and can’t find your way, there is someone to direct you. 

This is one of the most powerful tools in what I do. The expertise needed to navigate the process is obviously invaluable but sometimes its just the encouraging words and reassurance that are needed to get someone from one day to the next. Then they’re off and running again and right back on track.  

Don’t try to do it alone. Not because you can’t, but because you shouldn’t have to and you don’t need to.
